About Decantery
Glassware, decanters and bar tools for people who drink at home. Built for a reader with one specific thing to buy and no interest in reading a dozen tabs.
Decantery covers home bar and whiskey accessories: glassware, decanters, bar tools, ice moulds and bar carts. Most guides put a handmade piece from an independent shop next to the mass-market option for the same job, because that is the real choice most people are weighing, and we say which one is worth the money and why.
Who writes here
Callum Ferrier · Editor
Callum edits Decantery, a site about the glass, the decanters and the tools of a home bar, never the bottles. He has spent a decade building a bar cart one piece at a time and cares about things like lead-free crystal, rim thickness and whether a stopper actually seals. Picks come from specs and from reviewers who have owned the item for a year or more; he does not claim hands-on testing he has not done.
How we pay the bills
We earn a commission when you buy through our links, from Amazon and from Etsy shops through the Awin network. It costs you nothing extra and it never decides what we recommend. If a product is not worth buying we say so, and we regularly recommend the cheaper option. The full version is on our disclosure page.
